    Hi All,

Looking at pulling the trigger on a lightly used 2018 SCREW. I’m currently the owner of a AMG C63 coupe but with a second baby on the way, it’s just not gonna work anymore.... so what I’m wondering is - is it possible on the GEN2s to lower the rear to match the height of the front. I’ve seen lots of posts about how to raise the front to match the back, but I honestly really like the height the front of the trucks sits at. Any input would be really appreciated and can’t wait to get my truck!

    Thanks!

Yes but the rear suspensions/shocks are tuned for that height. You can replace the rear block.

The whole idea just sounds odd. Don't think I've ever read or seen this requested before

Sorry to hear you’re giving up your performance car. I own an Audi RS7 and would dearly miss it if I had to give it up. Now onto your question. First let’s address the reason why the truck was engineered with a rack ( term used to describe the rear to front being different heights) It’s has to do with hauling weight in the bed of the truck. Once loaded the truck levels out and continues to perform as designed. The Raptor has a lot of features engineered into the truck. Modifying or eliminating components on the original design of the truck will come at a price and possible complications down the road. Keep in mind you are now dealing with Ford Motor Company as the truck is under warranty. Ford is one of the worst manufactures to deal with on warranty once they identify the vehicle has been modified. If the change you are considering is for “ looks only”. Perhaps making that change while under warranty may be ill advised. I own a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 Raptor. If it were me , I wouldn’t change the height of the rear of the truck. Hope this helps.

Too easy, Tint60. Just pull the blocks from the rear. You’ll sacrifice some range of motion in the back and the rear may sag more with a heavy load, but you should be a lot closer to level. Look forward to seeing it.
