THe codes are already in this thread - i posted them - they are on page #2 of this thread post #16. You really should read thru this thread if you plan on using ForScan and making changes to your truck.
Just returned from Raptor Assault course. My co-driver partner has done the Forscan mods to his truck. I got the low down and ordered my OBDII. Gonna do this thing!!! The key seems to be MAKE THE BACKUP, and take it slow and careful.
yup - take it slow and always make a backup FIRST. Read thru the first few pages of this tread - very helpful.. any questions let us know.. Good luck.
Hey guys, is it possible on a Gen2 to modify forscan to have the Led on the side mirrors turned on while the truck is in drive? odd i know. thx.
So I have my Bluetooth FORScan from Amazon, I have the spreadsheet with the codes. I have read through the string several times to be prepared and ready to dive in. I have downloaded the software for the ODDLink, but I have not connected anything yet. Is the mention of password to the FORScan Forum to get more info? Do I need a password to do anything or is that just access to more info from users of FORScan?
FORScan is software - its is only available thru the FORScan forum / website and it is only available with a license ( this is free for 2 months). What you bought is the OBD interface but you need the software to make changes.
I have made many of the most popular mods. They all work great with one exception. The Reverse Tilt Mirror is not working at all. I saw in the notes column that the 2018 may need FCxx for 740/741-13-01, so I tried that with no better results. I went to the link in the notes column for proper adjustment, and followed the instructions. My mirrors do not move at all when I put it into reverse. Any ideas??
It's really cool to be able to do all these things to our trucks. Even cooler that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg! I haven't read through all the available changes yet , Is it possible to have IATs displayed somewhere on the dash? It'd be nice to see how well the heat exchanger works in different climates or under heavy use.
