Sunrise Ford is expected to get allocated a minimum of 20 Raptors. And according to their internet sales manager, "selling for anything less than 10k over sticker would be wasting each other time" FYI for the SoCal people out there. Also, he has "a list" of 100 people waiting. I'm sure there's a pinch of truth to this, but also take it with a grain of salt.
Dealers have no idea how many they will be allocated as of today. That Internet sales manager is blowing smoke.
What a douche. I have purchased two Raptors through my local Ford dealer, each was $500 over invoice. He already agreed to do the same when the 2017 Raptor orders banks open up. If I lived near N Hollywood, I'd take a trip out of the area and find a dealer willing to sell a Raptor for a reasonable price. These dealers are a dime a dozen.
yeah, i'd drive as far as in CA as necessary to get the $500 above invoice deal too. I also have no problem waiting till the first half of 2017 to buy as well. let all the hysteria die down. I live in the valley, so a 2+ hour drive in any direction is ok by me.
Just a small dealer in PA. I emailed 10 dealers within a 100 mile radius in of me 2011; 3-4 of them were willing to sell in this ballpark. I'd recommend any prospective Raptor buyers do the same.
Ah, that's a little to far for me. If I buy a 2017, I'll be talking to Redlands, CA first. But if they decide to jack up the prices, I'll be looking elsewhere.
I'd drive across the country to avoid getting screwed by a local dealer. I live in Illinois and flew to Houston to buy a F350 for the right price. It's cool having a few days on the road to shake the truck down and see how it handles. Road Trip!!!!
Those SoCal dealers are bad for that. Buy a one way ticket and drive your raptor home from across the country as numb nuts just said , lol
