If a V8 was an option, would you still go with the 3.5 EB?

I added I think about 40 to 60 hp just by adding headers CAI e-30 and a tune to an na motor and I snap IWE all the time. I'm hoping the new improved ones fit the gen1

Guys you will see 600WHP out of this platform very very quickly. I made 600WHP with my Ecoboost Flex with no problem adding aux injector and moving to E85. This engine with DI+PFI will be super easy to mod. Add regular injectors, upgrade in tank pump and tune for 100+WHP upgrade. If we're lucky they kept the same form factor turbos as the existing F150 as there are already turbo upgrades out there for the EB F150 but nobody can fuel it! The Flex (transverse) engine has an aluminum manifold so easy to weld on injector bungs, the truck has a plastic manifold so no such luck until NOW!!! I can't wait to order mine and make some big power.

EDIT - never mind, turbos are vastly different including electric WGA.

 

I got Ocala national forest here in Florida. I run my Gen 1 hard there. Its paid for. I have 42000 miles on a OG 2010. I like the new Raptor with 10,000 dollars of modifications because as it sits is does not impress me in the style department. Unless I hit the lottery this shit aint happening again. If I do hit the lottery you motherfuckers will never catch me in my 2017+.
