Is this blue truck from Dallas the same color as the one from Minneapolis? The Dallas one looks like a lighter shade of blue.

Yes I think its the same color. Differences in light and cameras used and image processing can make the same color appear to be quite different.

As far as I can recall my photo is quite close to reality, atleast to my eyes.

I suspect the Dallas Raptor might be the original 2017 prototype introduced at the 2015 NA Auto Show last year. Like the original 2017 prototype, the current Dallas Raptor has gold shocks, charcoal non-beadlock wheels, and a bedside "Raptor" graphic. This original prototype truck was said to be a slightly different color blue which Ford only uses on show vehicles.

This is only speculation on my part, but it's an educated guess based on reading all of the gen 2 Raptor stuff I could find over the past year.

Ahh, could be. I like those gold shocks. I hope that makes it to production.

Dallas truck has black side mirrors whereas the Minneapolis truck has body colored side mirrors. So they are different units. Whether the colors are also different, I am not sure.

If it's this Sunday - see if you can scoot underneath and take a look at that exhaust. Maybe get a picture......

I was able to get in the avalanche grey truck last month for ~10mins or so. From what i was told, the interior is off limits currently as it is not finalized yet.

I posted this on frf already, but compared to my Gen1's seats, they are more euro sportscar feel. Tighter cushion with more pronounced side bolster support. More leather like than our current pleather. Can't speak to the wear issues described below, but wouldn't rule it out either, they did feel like a softer leather. I am semi-concerned with the plush vs firm. I've been very comfortable in my Gen1 seats during our multi all day/night runs, so time will tell if that holds true with these.

These were the seats seen in other autoshow images, ones with the orange accents (im told this was a throwback to the molten orange 2010s fwiw) and horizontal raptor embroidery. These were not the seats shown in the earlier prototype shots with white bolster edge, horizontal accents, and vertical raptor embroidery.

As for the remainder of the cabin, the images show everything needed to know. I find the placement of everything much more efficient, moving the switches and ORM/HD elsewhere freed up a much needed open storage nook in center. Only neg i noted was the big gaudy power/acc door/cover, i like our Gen1 more Discreet flip out circular cover, although the addition of AC plug is nice

Take a floor jack. If anyone asks just tell them you're there to change the oil.
