A few images from the Dallas Auto Show. They only had a SCAB, I wish they had an Avalanche Gray SCREW, since that is what I want.

The truck looks nice but if I am being honest it did not have the breath taking first impression that Gen1 had when I first saw one of those.
May be its because I've researched it a lot and have seen so many photos/videos already, so I knew what it looks like.
But I would still buy a Gen2 instead of a Gen1 at this point in time, since pre-owned Gen1s are so ridiculously priced now.

Another truck I am considering is this new look RAM Power Wagon.
I would not have thought about the previous chromed-out look but this one is not too bad.
I just dont understand why they put 33" tires on this monster.

No. It was locked. Which sucks.
I was really hoping to be able to sit in one and get the feeling of the interior.
Every other vehicle in the show was open and you could get in (other than the $2 million Pagani or a few other super cars).
I do not understand why Ford did this.

They did the same thing when the gen 1s came out, even when the trucks were on dealer lots, no test drives and you were damn lucky if you ever got to sit in one!

I question their judgement on this. I can understand the test drive thing if they have only one or two on the lot so the actual buyer does not get a vehicle with 600 miles on it.
But not allowing to sit in one is just silly.

Its what drove up the hype! I still remember pulling up to a dealer in my 2 year old f150 and walking up to the raptor on the lot and the f'n salesman locked and chirped the door when I reached for the handle! I was like, "WTF"!! Once things settled down after 2011 models, most got test drives, etc. PS: I did not buy my raptor from this dealer either!!

Coronaraptor>>> I wont buy one of these, but I do like the look, it has improved a lot over the years.

I probably won't buy one either since I have a lot more affinity to the Raptor.
But these things are off-road monsters with more ground clearance and front+rear lockers and front+rear swaybar disconnects.
They are more rock crawlers than the speed runners unlike the Raptor.

Its because the quality of their leather is so bad. It would look like crap pretty fast.

The dealership by me had GT350 that was sitting for awhile, they had to replace the driver seat when it finally sold because the side bolster was worn out just from people getting in and looking at it. My ExSport side bolster was completly worn out at 2k miles and Ford had to replace it.

We're going Friday to Javits, I'll be sorely disappointed (read fucking pissed) if I can't open the door to check the interior out.... Piss poor way of selling vehicles.

I'm sure they won't let you. But just go down to your dealer and ask to sit in a current F150 platinum. The interior will be the 98% the same.
