Just what I read, and haven't read this before anywhere. Maybe the rumor of 511 hp can be true after all, if the 755 hp of the GT is to be believed:

The next-generation 3.5 L EcoBoost V6 is being produced for the 2017 Ford GT, revealed at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January.[52] It will produce 755 horsepower (outpowering the twin-turbo V8-powered McLaren P1 without electric motors) and 690 lb-ft of torque,[53] paired with a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. This engine theoretically replaces the 5.4 L Supercharged Modular V8 from the last generation Ford GT which produced 550 horsepower. The GT has been on a 10-year hiatus, and will return in 2016 for the 2017 model year.

Also announced at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show was the 2017 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, which is powered by an all-new 3.5 L twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6.[54] This new engine is expected to produce between 450 and 500 horsepower in the Raptor, up from the previous 6.2 L V8's 411. Torque is also expected to higher than the 434 lb-ft produced by the naturally aspirated 6.2 L Boss V8.

I really hope 500+ happens. Would be a pretty bad ass truck at that point.

Where did they get 755 hp on the GT from? Did Ford announce it?

The source on the Wikipedia article links to some high school tool's Instagram where he's claiming to be the first person to own one. Ya, ok.

I thought someone said the IWE had been redesigned. Am I dreaming that?

Still an IWE, just a slightly different design. We'll see how it holds up!
