I have noticed a sound when coasting the last few feet before coming to a stop. It sounds like the drive shaft making a noise where it enters the rear end. It only lasts for a few turns before the truck stops. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, your truck is trying to engage the 4x4 to the front wheels. It’s a vacuum system and it will attempt to engage one of the wheels. That’s your sound. Dealer has to replace the hub. Happened to my 2018 around 9500miles.

Thanks Bob. Next time I'm at dealer, I'll have it checked.

As a sidebar to the brake discussion. The OEM brake lines give the truck a soft spongy feel when the brakes are applied. I had the brake lines in both my Gen 1 and Gen 2 changed over to stainless lines. The feel and response is a game changer.

SS lines are the way to go. My rpg's also helps the truck stop much faster than before.

Yep. May just be the best practical mod you can do to these trucks

I had some warranty work being done and asked the dealer if they had SS lines to upgrade and they didn't. What are you guys using for upgraded SS brake lines?
