What will be your first audio upgrades? New sub, door speakers, etc?

Depends on what stock sounds like. I used to have stupid amounts of cash into my vehicle sound systems and I somewhat grew out of all that especially the bass. I had about $3k worth of equipment stolen out of one of my cars 4 years ago and really havent had the urge to replace any of it yet.

All I need are crisp highs, good mids, and a sub that can handle higher volumes without bottoming out.

I honestly didn't mind my stock Gen 1 system. As I was mostly listening to the exhaust, but that may be different now ;)

Very well could be. ADD said the Gen 2 has a decent exhaust and that Greg's truck sounds good and that the production model will have an even louder exhaust but we will see. Hopefully if Ford decides to pipe in exhaust noise into the speakers we will be able to disable it through the stereo system settings. Id rather hear a weak exhaust over fake exhaust any day.

Are you able to disable this on a regular F150?

Nope. There is a mod someone did to the audio system to disable it but its more in depth and requires some wire cutting I do believe.

I recently installed some Focals in my 335i and they are very impressive. I wonder if focal has anything that'll work well with the new Raptor.

I honestly didn't think that the engine sound being piped in was a possibility. If they do that with the Gen 2's any hope I held out that this thing could be badass would be crushed.

I sincerely hope that his idea is scrapped and they just let it be what it is.....

So I see the Kicker Sub is available as an option or standard in the 802A package. Anyone have any experience with this sub ? any good ?

The only sound I want to here is my wife saying "one more jump". I don't need any other sound than to hear her screeming over the next one.

Kicker Sub is NOT available with the 802A package. There was an error in my original build/p[ricing tool that indicated that it was, but we've convinced ourselves now that orders are being taken, that it was, in fact, an error. The Sony system that's included in the 802A package includes its own subwoofer.

This is what I currently have in my 2013 f150 to replace the Sony stock subwoofer. I'll be transplanting these to the raptor. The stock Sony speakers with this extra kick of bass sounds great. I've been more than happy with it.
