Do you have any pics of the wire bundle you're looking at? Also those wires only work when the car is on. I'm not sure if you're aware of that, sorry if you are.

I read in the owners manual that they work with it on or off, but I've tried it both ways.

No pics and I'm at work but I used the ones upper left of the engine bay by the fuse box.

Don't worry about offending me, you are helping me out.

Yah the upfitter switches only work with the truck on, probably for the best honestly. If you could grab some pics when you get home that would help a lot. But from the sounds of it, it sounds like you've got the correct loom for a 17.

I'm assuming those are to fog lamps or some sort of front end lighting? I'd start with making sure your lights work by making sure they are grounded properly and touching your power wire directly to the positive battery post to see if they even light up.

Used a test light on the wires and no worky. Truck running switches flipped. So it shouldn't be the lights????

Are they to the left or right of the wires you were originally using?

Sorry Vikes, I shoulda paid attention here, coulda helped you. You were on the pass through set of wires that go back into the cab. The other set is tied directly into the switches. If you need a pic,let me know, but it sounds like I'm late to the party. The other set is down to the right toward the center of the truck. I believe that you must have found them, same colors.

Left like I've read but didn't make sense because I couldn't find them. They were all taped up.

Jumping in late I realize, but having just wired my Rigid D Series Pro Spots/Floods and KC HiLite Flex lights with FordRaptorLights bezel, just did all of this. The change between 17 and 18 included both changing the "hot" side to the bundle nearest the engine (inboard) and the pass through wires are nearest the fender. On my 2018 the "hot" bundle were really well hidden (taped up) into the harness, had to search for them while the pass through were fairly easy to see. Also the upfitter wiring schematic in the 2018 Raptor Supplement booklet are for the 2017, not 2018...colors have changed. I added both lights and a tailgate release module and for the tailgate release module you have to connect the hot wire to same color pass through wire then wire the module down under the passenger side kick panel (fuse box). With the lights, I was able to directly wire to the upfitter switches via the hot leads - no need to run anything down to fuse box. FordRaptorLights bezel is really a really clean look (pricy but I really like it), check out the pic below:
