Anyone experiencing an amazingly annoying rattle somewhere in the driver's side dashboard area? I've taken it to the dealer four times already and they say they "can't hear anything" despite my wife and I both hearing it constantly. I bought this beast back in October and although I paid MSRP, it's an exceptionally expensive truck. Rattles like this drive me insane, especially on a 2018 Raptor! I know, it's a truck. I understand vehicles are not perfect machines, and yes I could just blast the crappy B&O stereo so I won't hear the rattle, but between songs or when on the phone, I hear it. In my mind, it's a quality issue that I can't stomach for a vehicle this expensive.

Any ideas (other than get over it)?

Did you try the slick tape on your sunroof. Seemed to work for me until last month. I had to open the roof and clean the mating surfaces, appears salt, cinders and whatever else Pennsylvania puts on the roads got between.

i had a rattle that sounded like dash board - turns out it was A pillar. The rattle guy at my local dealer took a drive with me and found it. Area where the A pillar meets the dash was rubbing. took the A pillar apart and applied some felt tape to area and reassembled - been good to go ever since..

Oh hell no, that's a dealer problem. I won't mess with things for them to blame other stuff on me.

Yes! Mine started after my tire rotation. I took it into service and they couldn't hear it, but they did break beads, roll, and balance tires, and it stopped. I know the rattle is there still and pillar sounds like it would be a match. So my suggestion is make sure your not eating up you K02's in the mean time.

I found that plastic trim piece in the middle of sunroof rattles when really cold. Put some thin foam tape rattle gone was very easy fix..hopefully it's the same in yours

Nope, mines actually the sunroof. They adjusted it and it was gone for a week. Goes in next Thursday, so we'll see what they come up with.

It’s not the sunroof, I’m positive of that. It’s definitely dash, steering column, or A pillar. Dealer just can’t make it go away. Oh well, loud music forever I guess

Welcome to the world of Raptors. Owned a 2009,2014 and now a 2017. Glove box rattle in both 2014 and 2017. The hinge attachment on the glove boxes are a poor design. In my case I overload the glove box causing one side of the box to crack. The box still works but it rattles. Changed out box on both trucks problem solved. I noticed some others on here have identified to issues you might experience. One is the wastegate noise. No fix for it. Just have to live with it. Second one is the sunroof. Best solution I’ve tried is carbon fiber solution around the seal. Works for about 10k. Then need to reapply Dealership used it on mine 3 times now. Truck has 38k on it. Owned about every truck manufacturer out there over the years . Raptor has little annoying things, but overall best truck I’ve owned. Here is the part about Raptors you’ll like. Resale. Put 40k over over 5 years on my 2009. Sold it for $3800 over what I paid for it. Put 55k on my 2014 Sold it for what I paid for it 3 yes later. Try doing that with other pickup trucks! Enjoy the ride!!

Thanks Jeff. I don’t disagree, truck is amazing, just little annoyances like every vehicle out there.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a “wastegate”?
