One issue I always had with the '11 screw was bed length. I ride dirt bikes as well and a gate extender was always needed to keep my shite in the bed. I didn't use the plastic option (looked weak).

I suspect the bed dimensions will be similar?

Did they start putting bed liners in the trucks or do you need to add an aftermarket like LineX?

Its an option to add a spray in liner from factory now. Very similar to LineX but sprayed a little thinner but essentially the same thing IIRC.

I always wished the raptor was available with the 6.5' box with the scabs, would make the frame the same length or close as running a screw, just for the reasons the OP mentions, for dirt bikes and quads.

That would be a cool option and some would buy but for sure not enough for Ford to both shipping yet another version. So, it ain't gonna happen.

How much would getting the LineX cost? Lot more than the one Ford is offering? I don't mind paying a little more to get it, especially if Ford does a crappy job...

Line X will run about 600-650 with the clear coat over the initial application. Pay the extra to get clear coat . It makes it look new even after 5-7 years in my truck

Going aftermarket with line X is what I am doing...for 3rd time now on 3rd ford
