Catch can on raptor

    has anyone installed a catch can yet. I have had mine installed for a few months. I don't really get much out of it when I drain it. Is this normal and the eco boost engine has gotten better or have a installed it wrong

    Put mine on at 2500 miles and now at just over 10k. Dumped some oily gas much like Toadster above.

    So you highly recommend getting a catch can for the raptor?

    That is concerning if this engine is still producing an oil/gas mixture. The fuel in oil was a significant gen 1 ecoboost concern.

    Jaws did you get about the same amount as the pic posted roadster? I only have 5 k in Miles and am not getting much out of I️t.

    I would bet driving style has something to do with it....

    Yes, about the same amount. Maybe a bit lighter in color but it is hard to tell as it ran down my arm.
    I’m doing an oil change today and will drain it and take a pic.

    These from what I am told are not required on the new EB’s. I did have one on my 14 Lariat and depending on ambient temperature I would need to empty once a week in winter or once a month in summer.

    They are a huge pain in the a$$, they freeze, they smell, and you alway have to remember they are there.
