Just collected my Gen 2 off boat in London UK and now in new home in Scotland. Probably only one in the country.
One question. Is 99 octane fuel Ok for the ecoboast engine. Have been using it with no apparant issues.

    NICE truck............ Congrats..

so lots of "debate" here in the US about octane vs gas mileage but to answer your question -

UK std unleaded "95"octane = is what we call 90/91 octane in the USA - you are fine running that.

UK "super" "97/99"octane = is what we call 92 /93 octane in the USA - this is what I use and I find i get slightly better results - by slightly I mean 1 to 1.5 miles per gallon better than what we call 89 (regular in the US).

    hope that helps a little..

Scotland is beautiful.. I've been to Edinburgh a few times.. Great city.

Thoughts: manual shows regular gas - low octane. Have been running this for awhile with no noticeble issues, but about 2.5 mpg loss. Calculate price difference to supreme fuel would require roughly 4 mpg increase or better, so is it worth it?

You must be the Badass of Scotland with your Raptor!!!!!!!

Ditto to what everyone else is saying here. You can run that lower octane without issues to the motor. You will find a slight decrease to your MPG. I find that for me the cost is about the same, go with cheap fuel and i fill a bit more often. Go with higher octane fuel i fill less often.

Not knowing what fuel costs in your country i guess you have to ask the question of what your budget can afford you. I know when i was on assignment in Poland a year back there was no way i could've afforded having the truck over there based on fuel prices.

Enjoy the ride my fellow Raptor owner.
