Hi all, I like the new forum, and like all of you, I'm looking very forward to the Gen 2 Raptor. I little history about me, I ordered a 2011 scab, and received delivery in July 2011. I absolutely loved that truck, and had a ton of mods on it. It took me and my family all over the west from the deserts to the mountains to the sea, as well as, being my daily driver. Last summer my wife and I were on our way home from the river, and were unfortunate enough to be caught in the Cajon Pass fire on the 15. Needless to say the truck was totaled, and the settlement from insurance was more than fair. I looked at it as being a sign that it was time to get a Gen 2 when they came out. Bought an old 4x4 suburban, and I'm patiently waiting for the call from my buddy at Ford that they are taking orders. Soooooooooo, glad to be back!!!!!!

Welcome! Bummer about the fire. Was just riding dirt bikes up through the burn area and it was crazy to see how expansive that fire was.

Wow. Sorry to hear you lost your truck in the Cajon Pass fire. That must've been a crazy scary experience (saw it live on TV - it was crazy scary just watching it) - glad you're alive to talk about it. I think you're right - it was a sign for you to get into a Gen II. I think you'll end up being very happy with it.
