Just installed the Borla S-Type...great upgrade to the OEM parts and provides a more noticeable grumble/sound at start up and during acceleration. Overall extremely happy with the purchase. For those of you on the fence about purchasing the Borla, I would recommend it.

On a side note, I have a friend with a 2.7 Ecoboost F-150 and wanted to pay-it-forward and give him my OEM Raptor exhaust that I replaced with the Borla...what is the consensus, will he be able to use it?

How about interior noise? Any drone? I did borla on an explorer in 2002 and it was unbearable on the interstate.

Interior noise levels cruising around town at speeds no more than 50 mph (windows up), it's difficult to discern that I have an aftermarket Borla exhaust. To be honest I only notice it when I'm accelerating. I have not had the opportunity to drive it at highway speeds (55-80 mph), but don't expect the noise levels to be much different once your up at cruising speed. I almost think that I should have gone for the ATAK.

I find it defiantly louder then stock. I also have s-type set up. Intrested in adding down pipe and curious If this will make it even louder or approx the same.

I have the Borla ATAK.... I like the sound, and interior volume isn't too bad. Exterior wise, I am a bit concerned that it may be a bit loud for the neighbors. I live in a conservative area and own a local fitness center where we see more Prius vehicles than trucks. If either of you with the S-type live close to Maine I'd be willing to meet at a shop and do a straight swap. I have less than 100 miles on the ATAK. I like the exhaust and am convinced I see less turbo lag and see the boost start to climb at much lower RPMS (around 1500 rpm) I would just like a bit less volume.

That Borla mid pipe ATAK sounds fantastic.

I can't find any information about if there are issues with engine lights or other things to worry about. I will order it today.

I have about 100 miles on mine no issues so far. I am not sure I notice "more horsepower" but I do notice much less turbo lag. It sounds great, interior volume not bad, but for me its just a bit louder exterior than I would like. If I were a bit younger I would love it, but being a bit older and concerned about what the neighbors think I will be ordering an S-type unless someone near Maine has the S-Type looking for more volume and wants to swap.
