We have all been anxiously awaiting the first deliveries and my bet the Ok to Buy will be given by this coming Monday. My logic... Ford's biggest racing week starts today with the Baja 1000 event. Also, for the NASCAR fans, 3 days of racing in South Florida - all Ford EcoBoost races. And, the final will be using the Raptor's as Pace cars. These races conclude on Sunday with the Raptor's being highlighted throughout the weekend. Hope my prediction is accurate... it is definetely logical. I'm way behind many of you with only getting my order confirmed this week. My dealer has 3 in front of me to be scheduled (Priority 14). They have 3 already built, and 4 already scheduled so I am hoping for an early spring build date. Good luck on the guys who have theirs built to get them soon and ramping up the process.
AB-sa-Fuckin-loot-ly DISCO ...Hurry the hell up FORD and give these guys their trucks that are sitting at the holding lot waiting to rail.. better light a fire under your ass as soon as these races finish FORD or else . . .
FYI... the older Raptor forum has a couple of guys stating that Raptors are being loaded to rail (supposedly verified earlier today). One of these gentlemen has a relationship with a line worker (who took several pictures on his build day showing several steps of the process including it driving off the line... these pics were posted.)... Anyway, line worker worked this weekend and verified this morning the 100% complete builds were moving to rail. Hope this is true... but it would definetely make sense with them shipping now and arriving over the next week or two at dealers. Also fits in with the Fall/late November ads (btw they never stated they would be delivered in that timeframe, only that they could be ordered). Actual deliveries should be in the beginning to middle of December which would fit in with Ford's last press release. Also matches up with several of the complete builds going from TBD to middle of Dec ETA's. Good luck guys, you need to get your Raptors so my build can be pulled. I also agree the lightning blue looked really good at the race. I settled on AG because I have seen it in person on GT350R and really changes in light/good contrast with body lines and darker components of truck. If the show car "liquid blue" was an offered color, I would have picked that. Most colors offered look really good and you can't go wrong with any on the Raptor. This was the most difficult choice while ordering for me. Have a great day and hopefully more news will be rolling down the tracks over the next couple of days!
