I was notified by the dealer that my Ruby Red Gen 2 Raptor was shipping by December 23rd (today) for arrival mid January, it has been sitting for at least 6 weeks at the ramp. so hoping I wont run in to one on the road before I receive mine! Does anyone have a website address that actually works to track VINs for shipment status? Going through my dealer doesn't really work. BUILD DATE 10/26/16.
Sorry, my Raptor Build Date is 11/03/16 (not 10/26). I am trying to confirm that it shipped but looks like I can't get that info until January 3rd. Intel Driven, I will ask my contact if he will look up yours...what is your VIN and dealership?
So I got a fast response today from Ford Service's Facebook page, and my Raptor is showing "released, awaiting shipment". This was my first attempt at using Ford Services's FB page and I got an answer within 12 minutes. If I am to believe my dealer, it did not get shipped by 12/23 like it was supposed to. Unfortunately I don't know if the status actually changed or if it has been showing "released, awaiting shipment" the entire time. I was told by the dealer over the past 6 weeks that the "truck was not released and located at the ramp". So maybe there was a change, I will check weekly with Ford Service FB page.
