The new Raptor is going to have auto start-stop. From my own experience with start-stop, it's really not a bad system. For a few days, it's annoying and makes you question if it's really going to start back up every time, but it sure does. Now, I haven't driven a Ford with their start-stop yet, but have driven both BMW and Mercedes. Both of their systems are really nice and I can't complain. The only time it was a little awkward, is if you're super quick from the brake to the gas pedal, you notice the nano-second of delay. You can turn it off, but if you see below from the 2015 F150, there is a list of times where it won't engage - I'm sure there will be quite a few more with the Raptor and different settings, etc. Typically, the dealer can disable the auto start-stop completely or an aftermarket tune can as well.

this is one way to make up mpg, surprising how fast it diminishes with just a few second's of run time.

Everyone I know with a newer model f150 has said auto start/stop was weird at first but they quickly became accustomed to it. Whatever saves me money for mods is a welcome addition to be honest.

After a solid week of driving with it, you'd forget that it's even doing it.

My BMW has this and the only time it annoys me is at stop signs. Other then that, most are pretty well integrated.

I have a lot of miles with stop start in lots of different makes and I still don't like it. I gave it a chance and was open minded it's just not for me. Hope I can shut it off like in the BMWs I have worked with for the last 2 years.

You'll be able to. The button is on the dash and like most manufacturers, they should be able to disable it via programming.

Other than at stop lights, when else would it engage. LMAO!!!

As long as it can be shut off then it won't bother me.

Does the all new GT have it?

government trying to tell you what to do.

e-30 is a choice renewable and less of a foot print with power. 96 octane = e-30 rocks

After living for the past 1.5 yrs in Poland and having an Audi with the start stop i can say i didn't like it. It does work every time. You can turn it off but at least in the Audi every time you cycle the ignition you have to turn it off again. Maybe the Audi system was just to slow for my liking but the delay just pissed me off. Additionally, this has been around for a few years now. I'd be curious to know the impact of wear and tear it causes and early starter failure rates. Has anyone done and actual comparison in fuel savings? Yes i get pollution needs to be factored in as well. I buying an Raptor though, Eco Terrorist is just accepted!!!!!
