October Build is Shipping?

5k markup. No idea what the original deal was. I also didn't haggle. I'm sure they would have gone down their list and sold it to the next guy.

My truck has no decals. Has no forged rims or carbon fiber. It does have 802a, tech. Heated steering, heated rear, step up tailgate and back appliqué. I didn't configure it or spec it or order it. I would have chosen a different color and carbon fiber if given the choice but I'm grateful I was able to get one.

For a lot of folks I'm sure they'd rather wait to get exactly what they want... for some... like me... they'll take what they can get as long as its close.

Just throwing it out there.

 

im about to do same, my order has gone nowhere and no status, no build date, nothing other than job number whatever that means. i ordered in october 2016 and was told 2nd allocation due feb 17 but that obviously won't be the case.
i've passed now on 3 back outs from dealer but didnt cause of color, rims, and decals. think i'm tired of waiting and will take the next back out.

 

I was working with a dealership that has 2 allocations and still has them and one fully loaded truck in my color they had ordered for their showroom. After 3 weeks of practically begging them to take a deposit, I gave up. They couldn't get Ford's factory rep to give them any idea of a build date or anything else. They were "hesitant" to take a deposit But I think I finally convinced them. In any case, they couldn't get one bit of movement.

I had no comfort level in waiting with them.

Now I have a truck I can pick up next week.

Man that's some shit, was there any media about this breakdown? Any info that you can dig up? I know in all it really don't help the situation, but I'm sure you like to have some good intel. There was a CSX train going through central FLA. that had a hard stop and damaged a bunch of vehicles back in mid December. I hope all is fine and gets under way soon brother.
