2019 raptor with 11k miles just started rattle at start up. Anyone had ford repair w good results. Dealer says two days- parts on back order and common issue.
You can go in and get the latest parts installed (CD), but there are reports now of those parts having this same problem too. This rattle may seem insignificant, but will cause problems if let go. There is a video here where someone let it go, then the engine was completely out of time during startup. Not good. This cold start rattle has plagued every generation of the 3.5 ecoboost engine. Ford has still not got it right in all these years with several attempts and multiple TSBs. Your dealership is right - common problem, with no known solution.
