I had an annoying rattle up front and a local tire shop had to find the problem for me, because the ford “techs” told me it was normal from the live valve shocks. For me it ended up being shot upper control arm bushings. I bought Camburg arms and that loud noise went away. Now I’m only dealing with a small amount of feedback. I’m hoping these upgraded tie rods do the trick Good luck.
It’s been over two weeks and they still have my truck. They have no idea what’s causing the rattle. They escalated it to a Field Service Engineer and he doesn’t know what it could be. They all agree it’s not normal and somethings wrong. At what point do I have an argument as to how long they keep my truck and can’t figure it out? They are not going to give me a back broken truck and I’m not gonna wait two more weeks. Has anyone had any experience with something like this? Where the dealer can’t figure out what’s wrong and it’s still under warranty?
I'm getting a rattling issue in my 19 but only in 4 low. It started about 3 days ago and I have an appointment for August 6th. I only have 6k miles on it and have not spent a bunch of time off road. Hoping whatever it is doesnt take a month to fix.

Your issue sounds like one of following. Bad shock. Loose shock. Or loose control arm. Check front tires... Are they showing weird wear pattern? Keep in mind that the torque spec on front control arm is HUGE. This could be not fully torqued. I re-torqued mine and rattle over bumps went away.
Yup. Bad shock. Bad internal valves they said. 37 days it took to have them figure it out. Now I have a fluttering noise on cold start ups. I can’t win.
I narrowed the same noise down to my front driver-side brake caliper. It rattles over rough roads and makes a clunking noise over potholes. Took it to Galpin Ford this morning and they said its normal for that amount of caliper play and that they didnt hear the noise on the test drive... Front passenger-side caliper was solid as a rock compared to the wet noodle on the driver-side. Pretty sure the caliper slide pins and or bushings are worn and allowing the caliper to jostle around like it is. Had this same noise last fall and a different Ford dealer (Sunrise) said that my brake pads were rattling loose because the ants-rattle clip were missing.... I called BS but thats a whole other story for another time. In any event, Galpin Ford didn't charge me too troubleshoot and they're replacing my passenger side front CV axle because the boot is torn and spewing grease. Parts come in on Monday.
