I have read through the owner's manual and looked through everything I have the patience to look through on the internet, but still have no clue what these are....
Sensors for alarm system, Strange to have sensors in cab, goes off after they are inside , makes no sense.thats what I’ve read.
Part of the alarm system- for if you have your windows open and someone reaches into the truck. When you turn off the ignition it asks you if you want the interior alarms active or deactivated (i.e. someone hanging out in the truck while you run into the store)- those are the interior sensors. I did have a dips hit sales guy try to tell me they were tweeters for the sound system...
Forgot to disable one time when I ran into a store with my dog asleep in the back seat. Then he woke up... Wish there was a way to default to perimeter-only alarm, without having to remember to select each time.
Makes a lot of sense actually. Say you want to keep your windows down all the way or even a little bit on a hot day and you’re only going to be away for a short time or it’s in your driveway - whatever. If someone reaches in to your console the alarm will go off. You can turn it off opting for “perimeter only” It’s actually a pretty cool feature
