I hope you believe your own bullshit when selling your lies and expect some idiot with no explanation on details or company just to shell out 4k to you for the fix right. Keep smoking the goods dude. Makes me giggle at least on how clueless you are

It is not my product to sell. But, it is a solution that Ford wasn't able to figure out. You are dillusional if you think there is no problem with these cam phasers.

Seen many rumors not happen, like the Diesel Tundra. Either way, this is not to replace the eco but is to compete with other HP beast. Fastest to the next red light wins.

Super Charged engines suffer the same loss of power at altitude as they are direct drive units, that run in synchronization to the engine. Super Chargers produce a specific amount of boost from low to high rpm's.

Turbos are not direct drive, and can produce boost in excess of engine requirements (thus the pop off valve) and so they overcome the thin air at altitude. That's why aircraft engines run turbos and not super chargers, to the best of my knowledge.

There's benefits and drawbacks to both SC and TC motors. The same can be said about the different kinds of superchargers. Twin Screw, TVS, Centrifugal, etc... I really don't have a preference, as long as it makes good power. I've owned five turbo vehicles and one supercharged (TVS) V8 mustang. Either one will get the job done. Turbo's make free hp, but at the cost of complexity and price. There is also lag too. Superchargers take horsepower to turn the blower, but are simpler in design. Since we're talking GT500 5.2 (TVS), I don't see how anyone will be able (or even remotely close) to putting any of that power down to the ground in a Raptor. I couldn't use street tires on a mustang with a TVS making roughly 550 at the wheels. I couldn't imagine even more power than that in a truck with zero weight in the back.

I think the benefit is that the consumer now doesn't have to worry about the 3.5 ecoboost design problems. I am not saying the 5.2 SC is without issue (no data yet), but the 3.5 ecoboost is plagued with some serious design issues.

It does, yes. But the Raptor is more of a hybrid AWD. Sure, it has a 4 auto mode, but I highly doubt the clutches in the existing transfer case will be able to handle the extra torque of a blown V8? Launching that kind of power in AWD isn't exactly easy on any of the driveline components. But who knows, maybe it can handle it?

Do you really think there is no issue with the consistent cam phaser failures? So much, Ford has redesigned parts several times, modified the tune, and still not fixed? So much of a problem that aftermarket companies recognize and are designing a fix... you guys need to get your heads out of the sand and come to grips with reality. The 5.2sc will hopefully be a better, more reliable design.

Mr. Bravo please share a picture of your raptor with the group. If you don't drive a raptor then what exactly do you utilize for transportation? Or is it public transportation only? The entire time you have been on this forum you have done nothing but spew vile information about the 3.5 eco boost. Let me also ask what kind of person comes on a raptor forum just to talk shit about the very truck this forum is all about? Are you incarnated and have no life at all? Are you challenged with living in your parents basement at the middle age of life ? Do you Have you mental challenges? Or is it you feel we are all a bunch of dipshits with our heads buried in the sand and your superior wisdom is something we all need? plz share with the less fortunate group before your impending ban.

All joking and flaming aside, Ram is doing the 707hp motor in the 1500, and Ford will in time do some kind of high HP variant of the 150.

Its a matter of time, did we all think Ford was done with the Mustang at 526hp? Rumor has the new 5.2 at 802hp, I am sure there is some tradeoff putting that motor into a heavier truck. The Coyote was rated at around 365 (as I recall) in the 150.

I have owned four raptors, a 5.4 2010, a 6.2 2011, and a 2017 and 18. The 3.5 is a phenomenal motor, simply amazing. But for people who believe that more is more, the 5.2 putting out (lets say) 750hp would be a truck to keep. Like a cross between a Raptor and a lightening. If they do it, and I can get my hands on one, I am a buyer. if I cannot, then I am looking at this truck like the GT, I want one, but its just beyond my means.

Admit it, if they did it, it would just be cool.

I think many of us just want a raptor with a reliable engine. This 3.5 has some definite problems.
