Hello everyone I am a newbie to the forum and a first time owner of a Raptor. I bought a 2018 Crew Cab Raptor and I put Fab Four bumpers front and back. I am at the point now where I would like to put new wheels and tires on it.

So here is my question I am wanting to put 20X10 wheels on it more then likely Fuel wheels. I personally just don’t care for 17” wheels. I normally run Toyo Open Country M/T on all my trucks. Of course I know I will loose a couple of mpg by doing this. I am wondering how much it will hurt my performance?

Thanks in advance and have a great day

I have 20's on my truck and haven't noticed any performance issues.

overall if you go with 20s - plan on a wheel/tire combo that weighs less than the stock setup

20" vorsteiner wheels are about $1700 and lighter than the OEM 17s

This is my 20 inch fuel wheels.

    Be attention for the offset

Mine have 1 inch outside the fender and pass really close when I turn the front wheels

My first truck 2014 Gen 1. 18/9 Method Fat Five wheel. 35/12.5/ 18 BFG KM2 Tires. Great stance

Second truck. 2017 Gen 2 Would have repeated the same wheel in 18 but no longer available. Went with a Rotiform wheel 20/9. Nitto Trail Grappler 35/12.5/20. Great tire if you can stand the singing road noise after 15k miles. Truck is my daily driver. Changed over to Nitto Ridge Grappler ( new tire from Nitto) best tire yet on and off road. Quiet

You really won’t lose much, if any, in MPG. What you need to be aware of is that you MUST adjust the computer to your new tire size. If not, speed is off, your miles will be incorrect, and your MPG will look low.

Only going to change if the outside dimension of the wheel grows. bigger is slower. you can change rim size then lower the profile to keep outside diameter the same but then your dodging potholes...

I have the exact design and they are offset a bit. Honestly, last week when I was driving her again I think something is rubbing when I turn. Checked alignment, tire pressure, even had an oil change while I waited...couldn’t find it anything. Noise is there every now and then.
Eh, maybe just my baby missing me and talking shit...or it’s in my head :disgust:
