about to install some new fog lights. I know the wiring diagram for the upfitter switches and all, but do have two simple questions.

1.) can someone recommend some electrical connectors to use to connect the wires?

2.) what is a good ground point people like to use in the engine compartment? is there a bolt or something on the frame that is particularly convenient to use?

    thanks!

I like to use trailer wire from Northern Tool. You can buy a big spool of it for cheap. It is good 16 gauge wire. Get you some butt connectors, split wire loom, heat shrink tubing, eye connectors (for grounding), etc.

Next to the battery and near the aux wiring are two ground wires that connect to the side of the engine compartment. I used those to ground all of my components by unscrewing that bolt and adding an eyelet connector.

Here is a guide on wiring to the aux switches http://www.bajamod.com/feature-wiring-switches.php
