I'm looking to purchase a bumper pull toy hauler. Curious if anyone added anything to suspension to keep from sagging? 2. Toy hauler suggestions? I'm currently looking at the Forest River XLR 27.
just install airbags and air them up when you tow......Cheap and easy - Firestone or Les Schwab will do it too.
At least Shaggy answered it much nicer than I was going to. This is simply a troll question that has been hammered to death.
I own a 2018 Raptor Crew cab and I’m interested in purchasing a bumper pull toy hauler. I was curious to know different bumper pull toy haulers current raptors owner are pulling and if there were any modifications to truck suspension to keep from sagging. I pull a 23’ boat with Raptor and it pulls better than my F250, but I don’t like the sagging. Thanks for your reply.
How much weight is ya trailer boat and gear ? I do a 21 ft Champion but with lil to no sag. I weight maybe 3500 ish.
I don't understand why people buy a raptor and then wonder how much they will tow. doesn't anyone do any investigation into the truck their buying before hand? You know small stuff like drive train, suspension etc... lol for me if I plan to tow anything especially at my elevation of 8200 ft above sea level I would have bought a super duty. Been their done that. I find these things to be common sense issues...
Agreed. Look at what you need and what benefits you. I tow a few times a yr and my fishing spot is 30 miles tops and Im below sea level in NO. Total weight with trailer and gear maybe 4000k. I knew the Raptor could do the job for my needs.
Certainly agree that most who buy the Raptor are not buying for it's towing capability. But some who buy would also like to occasionally pull something (myself included)...This topic may have been brought up a year ago, but there are 2018 owners just now getting into the same topics that were covered...With that said...Anyone running Deavers to help with sag? Not planning to exceed the 8k limit, but want to avoid sag and control issues...
