Ordered 12/28/16 Build date 5/29/17 I think I have the current record wait time. 5 months and counting. I'll be surprised if I get delivery by July. I got my VIN, now what?
Hey Dacam, I waited 165 days from order to build and I know there are guys that waited longer than me. My Raptor was delivered by a truck, not rail. I only waited 6 days for delivery unlike guys who waited months due to train problems. Then we have the nightmare of a member leaving the dealership, travelling 6 miles and having the truck die in traffic - wires not secured properly and they melted. Next, I would call Ford Performance at 1-800-367-3788 about a week before your build date. Tell them you have your Raptor VIN and you would like to know where your build stands. You can also go to www.etis.ford.com Click on Vehicle in the sub menu. You'll be asked to type in your VIN. You will then see a strange looking build date to the right until your truck is actually built. It's been a while since I've done this, so I hope all info is correct. Good Luck!
All models with any options run down the line together in color groups as long as they are a F-150 of some type.
Link to ETIS where you enter your VIN http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do I ordered 2/3 and don't have a build date yet, but VIN was just issued last week
you should get your window sticker long before ETIS ever updates. Your build date is screwed into the number on the window sticker.
137 days here but i was confirmed beadlocks was hold up for sure. shortage was epic on beads. CF wasnt even an option, if i stuck with CF option i would still be waiting
I got the build week of 5/22 (this week) from the dealer, but still nothing on the window sticker and ETIS has the same cryptic build date that everyone gets until it is actually built. I just hope it is built before Friday (holiday weekend)....
One thing a lot of you are missing, regardless of when you order your truck at the dealer you still have to have the order accepted by the regional sales mgr. Even then you're not in queue. Once the regional sales mgr pulls your order is when it goes in queue. It's a waiting process, there's little info your dealer can give you once they submit the order as it's out of their hands. Once it's in queue to be built is when data becomes available. Then there's lots of other variables that can come into play as to when your new baby will show up at the dealer. Frustrating to wait and little to no information will drive you nuts. Walk away until your given the information you can actually do something with or else you will drive your self crazy.
On the top of your window sticker, you should see a number, in this case: 220170420 that should be your build date. In this case, 2017 April(04) 20th 20170420 check that.
