Hello all, This is my first vehicle with key less start. The touch handle lock and unlock is very cool, but having to keep the fob with me is not a great option. Is there a way to keep the fob locked in the vehicle and just unlock with the keypad? Thanks
I know (from reading the manual) the truck does look for the key in the glove box and one other place so it will not lock if you put it in there. More importantly - if you leave it in the truck, anyone can walk up and open the handle of your truck since the FOB is close by. If you are used to carrying around keys, it should feel somewhat natural.
Yes, you can lock the fob in the truck but..... anyone breaks in then they can start and take the truck
