Quick question: After setting my mode for the driving conditions..... the truck shifts to 4A but after I shut my vehicle off the truck comes back on in Normal mode but still in 4A ..... since I am first time owner .... is this the Norm? Thanks in advance!

Mine does the same. Stays in 4A until i move the dial or pick a different mode.

Thanks so much! I just found it strange that it stayed in 4A but the driving mode reset every time.

Same here. Can’t tell if it’s a soft wear issue or if it’s really still in 4A

This is by design, I personally don't like it. The instructors at the Raptor Assault course said that's how it's supposed to be.

Agreed, it stays in 4wd at start up as the diff is operated mechanically from what I am hearing. Why it doesn't reset even after restarted. Have to shift off manually the diff from the dial. It is a safety issue I am told.

It’s by design. Example, If you’re in snow and put it in the weather mode, the truck will stay in 4A until you manually set it back to 2H; even though it’ll default back to the normal mode when you start it back up. No biggie to turn a dial. That’s life with a 4x4.

Dealership went over the truck including a test drive. It was concluded it’s by design
