Just discovered this beautiful scratch and dent....after Home Depot and several other errands. Wonder if I'm looking at a whole new quarter panel. Not very happy this morning.

BTW, the dark spot that looks like a hole is just reflection.

Could have been there or several other places in last 3 days. I always park way from everyone too. I do feel somewhat fortunate that it missed both lights.

Agreed. Shouldn't be a difficult job for a competent body shop

Sorry brother. There is always some high speed shop in every city that can help. Hope they fix ASAP.

That sucks. I'd imagine that the entire panel may require replacement.

I park as far away from other vehicles as possible for this reason, I also park "up hill" when possible so any loose shopping carts can't coast into my vehicle. The extra 15 seconds of walking is worth it. You may already be doing this, I also live in a really rural area so parking is never an issue here.

I worked at Wal-Mart when I was 18. Back then, I parked at the closest open spot because I didn't know any better. In a short time, my car was covered with damage similar that the OP's. People are ignorant and lazy.
