Finally got the km3s. They feel like the tire that was supposed to be on the truck, not that the k02s aren’t nice. Not a lot of road noise.

Looks beefy. Please describe not a lot of road noise compared to the K02. I'm getting close to needing new tires.

Look great! What size tire are you running? Always seems to be a challenge to get the look, quietness, ride and wear all in one tire.

Ok all, full report. This will make more sense to Colorado folks. I just ran an overland trip from eagle to Ruedi reservoir, up and over hagerman pass in the km3s. Bullet points:

    I’m running 315/70/17

    1. Astonishingly quiet. Barely any road noise at all speeds.
    2. The general feel of the tires is they absorb more of the road to a certain degree, feel slightly more boaty in general but still tight and stuck to the ground when you need them to be. It loosens things up. They generally feel light on the truck still and give a new confidence like they can eat anything... and later I found out they do.
    3. At higher speeds on improved dirt roads it is without a doubt a significant improvement over k02s. Way smoother, the lugs take the harshness out of the smaller rocks before the suspension needs to even do anything.
    4. Slow rock crawls, incredible, sticks to everything, it felt nice to see the sidewalk conform to some rocks and not worry at all.

In summary, you know your turf you are going to drive on better than anyone. The gains the km3s give me when I get off-road are very worth it. If you are mainly on streets, sticking with ko2s or less meaty stuff would maybe be ideal.
    Cheers.

They look far more aggressive on the truck than just the solo stock pictures I've seen. Thanks for posting!

    Warning
    Stupid question

Are the KM3 new to market, discount tire in Texas doesn’t have them in system

    Be kind

I am driving to CO for 4 day rafting trip and then 4 day stint in breck. Might have to take a look at at the run discussed in this thread

Just released in June. Discount Tire is one of the few that keeps them in stock. Not sure if they are out right now but call and check with them by phone

Wow those look sick. By any chance have you driven them on the highway in rain yet? Wondering how they do high speed.
