Is the beadlock wheel upgrade really worth it? Is the spare also a beadlock or stock polished wheel? Thanks
I like mine you can Also change ring color if you prefer ford performance has them. Spare is headlock also.fairly easy to keep clean imo
Very very easy to keep clean! I prefer the look of the beadlocks with almost any exterier color save for maybe magnetic
I believe what Jax84 meant was if you didn't get beadlocks from the factory, would you spend money to get a set of beadlocks? or just purchase aftermarket wheels?
I think that magnetic is the perfect body color for the beadlocks! They give the truck a much more menacing look.
The purpose of the beadlock wheel is to keep your tire from slipping on the rim when you air down your tires to a very low psi so you can get better traction in soft sand, especially when you intend to drive fast! So to me they are definitely worth it if you drive in soft sand conditions a lot! I drive the beach a lot so I would love to have them! Pretty sure you need to convert the stock rim to get true beadlock though? So stock would be mostly for the look and the capability to convert to bead lock. And I believe that wasn't the case with that option on the 1st generation models?
Is there a secondary market for the factory bealocks? I just ordered a lift and new rims and tires. My raptor should be in the next few weeks. I want to sell the rims and factory tires. Any thought on where to try and sell them?
so just so to clarify, your taking a ford tuned suspension that has years of engineering involved and putting a lift kit on it? lets all pray
