    Hello Raptor Fans,
I just completed my preview order on 10/17 after requesting my name be added to the dealer's list in January. I was told that I was number 2 in line.

I ordered a lightning blue Scab with the 802 package. I deleted the graphics, tailgate applique, and the tech package. The extras were the hard tonneau cover and spray-in bedliner. I am paying MSRP but was told by my dealer that other dealers are charging 5-10 K above.

After 30 years of F150 regular cabs and a Sport Trac, I will now have a full size truck with an extended cab that will fit in my garage. My new problem is hoping AMP Research will produce their Power Board for the Gen 2 Raptor. Now that this old fart can afford a Raptor, my arthritic knees will need some help getting to the cab.

I've spent countless hours searching the internet about Raptors, even chatting with a sales guy in Alberta, Canada. His dealership handles Ford Performance Vehicles. He has completed 29 preview orders and expects an allotment of 60 Raptors (no U.S. sales permitted). Even though I spend a lot of time on the web, I am a novice to Forums. I say this because other than posting this message, I do not know how to respond to other members that might ask questions. So if you pose a question, you might not get a response. I'm not being rude, but I am an old fart and not tech savvy.

Hope to be on the Laurel Ridges by summer...

You may want to search for a dealer that will sell for msrp or less. Many on here say they are getting them for that. I have already agreed on 5k over msrp. Buy I talked to 5 dealers in my area and that was the best I could get.

Thanks, I think I've figured this out somewhat. I have no idea how to post a photo. I still use a flip phone and have never sent a tweet, so you know I'm tech limited. Now I'm wondering how many hours it will take me to learn the Raptor technology.
