Reliable source for delivery date estimate?

ordered 7/21. have had a vin# and a 10/17 build date now for about 2 weeks now. AND IM NOT POSTING MY VIN#. LOL

 

Ordered in Late August

 

I had an original build date of 10/12, but still nothing on COTUS. I messaged Ford and they told me that I am now scheduled for a 10/17 build date, with a delivery date of of 10/28. Now, before anyone chimes in, I fully expect that delivery date to change, as I can't see them building on the 17th, and getting it here to Texas 11 days later. I will be elated if it happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

I have a Super Duty on order as well, and it is scheduled for a Halloween build, with delivery on 11/23, which makes more sense.

it appears this forum is dead. Im outta here and going back to FRF where lots of folks participate. I'll check back in a few months to see if there is a heartbeat here. Later boys and good luck with getting your new trucks!

 

Well you know what Gdog...some us don't have high speed internet like you where you get instant notification. When I finally get a notification, it's like a week or two old...LOL What you need to be doing is ice-fishing.

 

Hell, don't most of us visit all of the forums every day anyway ? Just so happens that this is the second most busy of the 6 or so forums that I visit every day, with RFR being by far the busiest. Still good info to be discussed here, and likely in a much calmer fashion than over in FRF <lol>.

Agreed! Over in FRF, some people go in there to see how big their wieners are, while the young and excited Raptor Generation gets dumber by the minute reading their crap! There are more GEN1 loyalist in there, which is fine but please educate us on how to tame this beast. Not if you're smarter and have more money than the next guy. Stupid. I'd rather be here where real men socialize than be over yonder where them littluns hang out...LOL

 

This forum is pretty well populated and active, considering the Gen2 Raptor is not even on the road yet IMHO. Maybe it's not real...maybe we're just dreaming and we're just discussing about a fantasy vehicle...

I'm looking forward to the day I'll get mine... DAMN WAIT... and plan some meetings with other SoCal guys.

You ain't lying! The wait is killing me. If there is a limit on how many types you can google Ford Raptor updates, I would be in jail a year ago.

 

I do have a 2017 ordered, confirmed order has been received but no more info from dealer. I've seen a recent posting that there's a lot with a bunch of new Raptors. I also noticed that they are missing front bumbers so my guess is not all parts are in for these trucks to start moving out to dealers just yet....

 

hahahahaha. I can't stop googling 2017 FORD RAPTOR. I have to look , don't want to miss a update.

 

Just got call from dealer and I have a arrival date of November 7th.
