The Internal Memo that I read said that all Canadian Raptor orders were going to be filled with factory refurbished Ford Pinto Station Wagons until such time as demand tapered off ;p At least with the wood paneling option, they'll blend into the wilderness that much easier.
I've been travelling for work so out of the loop...anybody know how USA hockey did in the World Cup? I see the finals are on but they're noticeably absent
Striker that's one sweet pinto. Does it come with the cf package? And must have room for a hockey stick!
I suspect it was only available with the WF (Wood Fiber) package back then as they didn't have Carbon available at the time, and by the looks of it, it was available as an exterior option as well as an interior option.
quick question for our neighbors up north. Did Canada even go to the summer Olympics this year? not sure did see much of them on the podium.. hope we get some truck info soon!!! lol
We did, we just don't focus our efforts on synchronized swimming and speed walking like those to the south of us lol
All joking aside, no offense what so ever meant to our Canadian friends. I grew up vacationing in the U.P. of Michigan and spent a lot of time as a kid up in Canada north of Sault Ste. Marie fishing and enjoying cool summer days. Already have a 3-month road trip up and around Alaska planned for the new Raptor that includes long driving legs through Alberta on the way North and British Columbia on the way South. In all honesty, I may never come back to the South-East once I get up North again. I see retirement as best spent in the beautiful Northern wilderness where as my wife sees it as best spent on a tropical Caribbean island. I wonder if they'll let me drive the Raptor on their tiny island beaches ;p
Hey StrikerHawk, you will most likely be driving very close to Brule Lake, Alberta on your way North to Alaska. This is part of The Ultimate F-150 Raptor CANADA Road Trip! http://blog.ford.ca/the-ultimate-ford-f-150-raptor-canada-road-trip/
Oh HELL YES <lol> I'll do a bit more research and perhaps add a good chunk of it to my travel plans. Thanks much.
I ordered my raptor Sept 9th. My dealer told me if I put $500 down it would move up in priority. Yesterday I got my VIN so mine has started production.
Correction, now that you have a VIN you're in the system waiting to be scheduled. First they'll give you an estimated build week, then perhaps a week later you'll get an actual build date, then you'll see when your truck will actually be born. Production takes somewhere between 12 and 18 hours, depending on which information source you choose to believe. Good luck.
