That's a good way to look at it. I have one for MSRP as well. Pricing will be the deciding factor. Save some money or get the truck in this lifetime.
Pretty much, I compared MAS pricing of 3 grand under MSRP to my x-plan which is about 6 grand under on a 2016 lariat... I am expecting MAS to be about 2-3 grand under MSRP with the raptor as well but they definitely aren't anywhere near invoice ..

Wow! It's funny because when I put my deposit down back in June, they told me they had allocations. Oh well, I pulled my order last week and got MSRP through a dealer in Pueblo. Ford has the order and now I'm just awaiting a VIN and build scheduling.

I'm at Carson. I'm fine with MSRP, but I am also in the market for a good used car for my step son. So hopefully I can get a good deal on one through the Pueblo dealer. I wish I would have know that MAS wouldn't be able to come thru so I could've ordered back in July. Spoke to the MAS rep where I am. He stated the allocation for MAS on the 17 Raptors will be 35 (if i recall the number correctly). Pricing in Mid 60k fully loaded SuperCrew and with ZERO rebates on it. He said I'd have a better chance at getting in on the 350 allocation.
I may be reading this wrong, but are you saying there is better chance of winning a 350 than a Raptor? I was told they have about 31 allocation for MAS. I am not sure where MAS covers as far as customers competing for this truck. There is MAS in every shit hole corner in the world that we currently deploy to. 31-35 allocation is about 1 per dealership probably, SMH!
I know you guys don't want to hear it, but: MAS is like winning the lottery. Not a very high possibility. I agree with Intel, very low probability of getting one, much less getting one in a timely fashion. I just returned home, and while away I managed to get a GT350 (take delivery Sunday!!!!) and order a Raptor with an estimated delivery date in December. My GT350 was MSRP, and my Raptor order was $500 over INVOICE. Deals are there. You just have to find them. Intel is correct about the many shitholes that we currently get sent to, but also factor in the dream assignments like Germany, Italy, Japan, ETC. My understanding is that they can compete as well. In fact, on the GT350 forums, there is a MAS topic as well, and one of the winners just took delivery of his car in Germany (Autobahn BEAST!). Good luck, I hope it works out, but I just couldn't risk not getting an order in prior to my PCS.
Well figured I would update everyone, MAS held their lottery and I found out late last night I got a slot. I had the luxury of taking my time since I don't head back until Feb/Mar. Submitted my order today and should be going back tomorrow or Saturday to get my build date. They had a few stipulations but nothing that I thought was to oppressive. Hardest part was finally having to pick a color.. If anyone else stuck it out how you got yourself one.
