Installed this kit. Took about a week of driving to settle in. Maintains most of the original ride and handling. I considered the collars that compressed the coil. The physic of compressing the coil would lend itself to a stiffer ride in my opinion. That's why I went with the Ready Lift Leveler.
did you do anything else besides the spacer? You are increasing the droop by incrsing the length of the shock. Stretching the axles, tie rods and control arms. How much did you go for? 1.5"? BTW I am thinking of going this route as well, just wondering if any other modification is required. The perch lift is, yes it increase preload hence making it stiffer. thanks
Sounds like your gonna need to go more than 1.5" lift in the front tho. Guys with 18's here with 1.5" lift in the front still had to do some inter fender well mods. Let us know how it plays out
Did some minor trim on the fronts prior to the leveling. Don't think the trim would have been required if I had done the leveler first.
