If the collision warning system is in the tail lights, what is the solution for putting aftermarket tail lights on and still have collision warning? Has anyone done this?

Are you talking about BLIS the Blind Spot radar?
I believe the collision warning system is at the front of the truck..

Left bumper pad is where the sensor for collision warning is I beleive. Watch ya warranty with fooling with sensors. Just my 2 cents.

Ya I'm not going to disable them. I was just wondering if they were in the tail lights because I want aftermarket tail lights. Thanks for your reply. I can' find a manufacturer that makes them specifically for the 17 yet. Just regular 150s so far. I' sure they would fit, but I want to be sure.

We’re you able to find any tail lights? I’m interested in OE style that are tinted, like the FX2 and FX4 from the 2011 - 2014 MY had tinted versions of the standard F150 tail lights. I could do an aftermarket tint job on my OE but I’ve yet to see that turn out well. Biggest motive for me is to blend out the outline that’s clear and almost white when not illuminated.

You might want to look at the OEM non-Blis tail lights. They are much more pleasant looking in my opinion...
