Well, she's arrived! Here is my 2017 Avalanche Grey with Orange Accent Interior SuperCrew Raptor! I've never given much thought to owning a truck, always thought that SUV's were more appealing for my needs and still haven't owned one of those either, but this is the truck that is getting everyone to reconsider.... We immediately loaded it up and took it to the mountains of Western NC for a weekend getaway, and loved every minute. Already added my Clemson Alumni graphics, FORscan changes, Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover, dash cam, radar detector (both hardwired), and cell phone mount from ProClip. I definitely love everything about it. From the way it drives, the performance, the looks, the capabilities.... Can't wait for more fun adventures in it and getting to all the off road locations I need to go for working in the catastrophic loss insurance industry!
First truck. Awesome. But I must admit if you're into travel, family and comfort then platinum is it. Messaging seats, smooth as driving on clouds, ambient lighting to put her in the mood and lower side steps that retract! Now that I sold you on it, you need to forget all that plush because when it's just you and the rig, shit goes down like you can't get anywhere else. Great choice, enjoy man. It's the camilian of vehicles. BEAST.
Congrats on the truck. Since it's a 17 did you buy it used? As for the comfort, I think the Raptor is great. My wife has a platinum exiplorer and for me it's not as comfortable the Raptor. The masaging seats are more of a gimmick.
