The fender flares can be protected with wax or sealant, but do not use either on the matte vinyl, as it they will leave residue in the vinyl.

Protect the matte vinyl decals with either VRT or H20 Guard & Gloss.

The VRT is a water-based dressing, that will make them look nice and provide some UV protection. But since it water-based, it gets washed or rained out, then needs to be reapplied every couple of washes or rain storms.

The H2O Guard & Gloss is a water-activated acrylic sealant, and will provide protection for a few months. For application on matte vinyl, use the "Dry Application" method, where the product is sprayed onto a wet towel, then applied to the dry vinyl. This results in a more even application than using the typical wet application method, where the product is sprayed onto a wet surface, then buffed off.

So flares and bumpers can be waxed? I've been painstakingly going around them.

I would not "mess" with the hood graphics at all, don't rub or touch them any more than necessary to clean as you want to retain the flat appearance to keep the purpose of anti glare. Think of the flat black hoods of the early muscle cars it was there for a purpose.

Yes. On the bumpers, avoid the plastic step pads and plastic bumperettes.

It is advisable to keep the matte vinyl properly protected, to prevent UV damage, and also to prevent dirt and mud from staining or building up in the vinyl. Neither of the products that I suggested will add any appreciable glare to matte vinyl.

We also have a product called Matte Detailer, which is like Detail Spray, but for matte finishes, like the graphics. It can be used for light cleaning, and does not add any gloss like a typical Detail Spray would. It does not, however, add any protection.

you can always use a polymer hydrophobic that can be indiscriminately sprayed on all surfaces. I highly recommend cquarts(2years), F11 Top Coat(6 months) or Maguires ultimate quick wax(2 weeks). Ive used the maguires for several years now and never had any problem with discoloration. I have xpel stealth on my truck and I've had no issues.
