I got reverse tilt to work. Thanks for your help. Here are the steps that worked for me:

    1. Ignition on
    2. Press the memory button (in my case 1 until memory saved)
    3. Select the driver or passenger side mirror
    4. Shift into Reverse
    5. Tilt the mirror down manually (mine did not automatically tilt as in other posts)
    6. Press the memory button and hold for 5 seconds (you will not get a prompt that it's saved)
    7. Return to Park
    8. Adjust mirror manually to the normal position (mine did not return to it's original position as in other posts)
    9. Hold memory button until saved

It should now automatically reverse tilt the selected mirror when you shift from Park to Reverse.

So when you shift from Reverse to park, should it return to normal or do you have to deselect the mirror? On my Toyota Venza, so long as either mirror is elected, they both tilt down when in reverse and return to normal when you shift back to park/drive.

Gotdang it! The more I read the more I feel like this truck is a space shuttle. I am pretty sure there is voice command button somewhere to answer all your Qs. (I'm still looking for the stripper pole button):nohomo:

You have to deselect the mirror to have it return to it's original position.

I turned on secure idle and the RPMs did spike when I opened the driver door while in Park. RPMs went up to 1100 or so temporarily before settling back down to 600s. I turned off secure idle and the RPMs no longer spiked when open I opened the door while in Park.

    Disclaimer:New Raptor owner here

I'm not hearing this engine noise y'all are talking about. Is it possible they don't have it in the 2018? I'm sure it may have been discussed on these forums previously, but would love to get an explanation or a link to a thread that does.

    Thanks !

I dont know for sure but I believe the 2018 is same as 2017 - engine noise piped in thru speakers.. turn the truck on and turn the stereo OFF. Put your ear to the speaker - if you hear any white noise at all, if you hear anything that makes you think there is power to the speakers then good chance its on and will get louder as you drive.. Good news is it is easy to turn off!!

Oddly enough I do not hear anything that appears to be piped in engine noise in my 2018 either.....2100 miles on it and several people drove it and nobody seemed to notice/comment on the augmented sound. I do not have aftermarket amp though and in 2018 there is a new stereo manufacturer B&O.

ordered my OBDII MX BT and going to download the FORScan SW....question: what version? What is Wine Edition?

    ***UPDATE***

WINE version is for LINUX and not the one to download if you are running Windows as it is missing some functionality

Used my OBDLink MX with FORScan to remove fake noise, add temps above gauges, remove double honk, global windows, LED DRL's, disable auto start, Lincoln mirror fold, and it all went well. I did install the heated seat buttons onto the 8" display but didn't like the clutter so I removed it. I also installed the relock function but it is not working in my 2018. I installed the reverse tilt mirrors and cannot get them to function. I have tried the method in this thread and still no luck.....

I actually find reverse tilt mirrors annoying and useless with these mirrors as they are huge and give a good field of view. Reverse tilt is more aimed (pun) at small mirrored cars that have limited visibility. Just my .02

Got the equipment in yesterday for ForScan, hooked it up today and set up Lincoln mirrors, got rid of the doublehonk, added seat and steering wheel controls to the display, set up DTR to leds and parking lights, and added the engine and transmission temp above gauges.

Anyone figure out how to add boost and oil pressure numbers above gauges yet?

I left my IPC stop/start message center enabled so I can monitor it in real time.

I look forward to learning if this works in other Fords.

I made these changes this morning and it worked flawlessly, I made the optional changes as well.

Any suggestions for us Mac owners? I'm still awaiting delivery of the beast but I'd like to knock out the FORSCAN changes as soon as possible.
    Thanks
