It's a looks thing G. I'm tempted but I really dint want the hop back I had in my FX4 on certain roads.
We also have a new product release from Icon vehicle Dynamics . ICON Vehicle Dynamics is proud to introduce the latest addition to the IVD Leveling Suspension product line, the 2017-UP Ford Raptor Attitude Adjustment Collar. The ICON Attitude Adjustment Collar (AAC) is an industry first, patent pending multi-height coil spring collar that works in conjunction with a top load shim that can be configured in five unique ways to yield .5” to 2.25” of front lift height over stock. Taking the front end dimensions of the "Gen 2" Raptor into account, the collar and shim design of this leveling system achieves this range of lift height while keeping the OE shock in the ride zone, maintaining factory ride quality. Other options on the market produce lift height solely through coil preload, which places the shock in the rebound zone at ride height and drastically impacts ride quality and performance in a negative manner. Installation of this leveling system requires no disassembly of the shock, making it a simple and straightforward process as opposed to other options currently available. CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum construction and a black anodized finish mean this product can stand up to the test of time in the harshest on and off-road conditions. Made in the USA and backed by ICON’s limited lifetime warranty, the ICON Vehicle Dynamics Attitude Adjustment Collar is the best leveling solution on the market for the 2017-UP Ford Raptor. I never really understood why people buy a truck and then lift the front to be level with the rear... As soon as you put any weight in the rear, your headlights are now in the eyes of oncoming drivers and your front castor angle is all screwed up. If you never tow a trailer or carry anything in the bed - well - I guess it would make sense. If you level your truck, have your headlights re-aimed and have a ball...
Hey Gents, hope all is well. I know I have been MIA. Dealing with family stuff. I had the RPG 1.5 spacer installed last week. See pic attached. I really like it, stiffened the front suspension up a bit in a good way it also decreases some of the body roll IMO.
looking good JD. My RPG collars are on the way and should have them installed next week. Any downside that you've noticed so far?
None that I can find. It will stiffen up the front a little, Good in my opinion. I'm used to the F350 suspension, so this makes me feel right at home. It also feels like there is a bit less body roll in the turns which is always good. I would say money well spent.
I towed a small uhaul trailer with the raptor and had plenty of people flash their lights at me. And I don't have the leveling kit.
