I notice that when the tranny is cold, it's sluggish. I kind of expected this, so I try not to lay into it until the temp is up a bit.

Just got the truck back from the Dealership. The 10 speed transmission was designed to learn your driving style. Techs have seen customer trucks that were lent out to a friend to drive. When they get the truck back they think something is wrong with the transmission because it shifts differently. It learned the driving style of the friend that borrowed the truck. Another thing to be aware of. It the battery is disconnected or runs down the transmission will reset to original OEM setting. Another issue that was discussed was selecting into the winter/rain mode which will automatically put you into 4A. If you turn your truck off then back on the mode will change back to normal, however it will remain in 4A. You have to select it manually back in to 2H. We confirmed on 2 2018 Raptors that this was still the case.

I've noticed the same thing. Until the trans gets to normal operating temperature it's a bit clunky especially in normal driving mode when it gets to 6th gear while I'm going 30mph. I usually drive in sport mode to avoid this but I recently installed the BullyDog tune and the transmission was significantly smoother at low temps even in normal mode.

I used this image to help explain what transfer case modes are available in Weather Mode but could also be used here.
With roughly 6k on it now with 4k of towing - My transmission seems to be fine, but I didn’t buy the truck to beat it like a red-headed stepchild either.
If I were having problems like some of you, I think the first thing I would do would be to disconnect the battery overnight and start the relearn process over again by driving the truck “normally” to then assess the transmission’s condition.

Soooo I have 10K miles now, and just started noticing the hard shifts between 4th and 5th gear (especially when not stomping on the gas). I have been using a Pedal Commander since about 1,300 miles. Wondering if that is causing the issue? Dumb question: if I disconnect the battery overnight, will that reset everything electronic back to default (eg. FORSCAN changes back to factory settings)?
